Did you know that you can have real-time quotes in your Google spreadsheet directly from your mobile phone?
"Did you know that with Google Sheets you can check quotes, as well as stocks, REITs, BDRs, and other financial instruments directly from your browser/mobile? As you can see, in the example below, cell A2 contains 'BBAS3,' which is the code for Banco do Brasil on the São Paulo Stock Exchange. In the adjacent column, specifically cell B2, there is the Google Finance function '=GOOGLEFINANCE(A2,"PRICE").' I've highlighted in blue the cells that contain functions and/or formulas, as it makes it easier to work with the spreadsheet. However, in cell B6, where the dollar to real conversion is, due to limitations of the spreadsheet function, I had to input the formula without referencing another cell. So it became: '=GOOGLEFINANCE("USDBRL").' Do you have any suggestions you would like to add to this post? Cheers.
